Neutron stars are fast-spinning remnants of some other types of stars. The fastest spinning neutron star to date has an equatorial speed of 70000 km/s.

It helps he has like 30x the processing power of most of us, what with that 4p folding machine he has and all.

By my calculations he'll be at 135 million by the time bronyracer hits 50 million. If bronyracer gets two more processors into his bigadv rig he'll actually start catching up, though.

Don't plan on that happening any time soon. It's my cousin's server for his business. He occasionally hires to me to do some work for him when he gets too busy. I can't afford the upgrade myself, but I told him I'll work for CPU's lol. Derpytongue2

I will be doing some overclocking and tweaking though, if I can ever get him to stop being lazy and set up remote access for me.

You will never take me alive!! *upgrades to 83xx series processors* Raritywink

I was kinda planning on upgrading the processors eventually, but it will probably be a long time from now. I need to fix my car (need to finish pulling off the transmission and take that apart) and then I kind of really want to make a CNC engraving machine... or perhaps a laser sintering type rapid prototyping machine (cant decide which). The CNC/prototyping machine will be about $7,000 to make. The car to fix should be less than $1,000

When and if I do upgrade the processors, I'll toss the (old) set of 4 processors in the closest folding competition.

The primary goal for setting up that computer with 4 processors was to set a very high standard, something for other ponies to try to match or beat. It seems this idea is more or less working... I just hope I'm not discouraging other ponies from folding with lesser computers.

What you need to be doing with those four processors is give them to people without super high ppg (hint hint hint), to keep the rich from getting richer, metaphorically speaking. Also, I feel like Selly could use some nice processors.

Don't forget that these are just the processors. You'll still need a compatible mobo.

If four processors fell out of the sky into my lap, I would buy a mother board for them.

Yay, got into the top 300 finally (though that doesn't say much considering that 200-300 is mostly populated by dead users x.x)

Well, just recently hit 4 million points total. Kinda special, I guess. Also approaching the top 9,000 program-wide, so that's not too bad either.

Unfortunately, with CPU folding only, I'm still dropping in the Brony@Home rankings.

You can always check how you doin' by sorting the users by PPD.

I notice you are using the derpy sig pic. Looks awful familiar to me...

I too, am a fan of derpy sigs.

Also, I broke 500k points sometime in the past few weeks. I know that's pocket change to most of you, but given that my best folding machine has an Athlon dual core processor, it still feels impressive.

(as soon as I have confirmation of summer employment, I'll be ordering the parts for my new computer. It features an i7 3770, and a gtx 660; I haven't been this excited for a new computer since I bought my first laptop Yay)
