It's always a Tavi thread. Now, onto those foldings.

Is it too late to join the competition?

If not, my username and my folding name are the same: Drakee_Skalor.

Someone needs to remove that plastic wrap on the second one.

Don't worry, I obsess over lots of things with scrutinous detail. Was the first thing I noticed unwrapping them. (they were second-hand)

I'm backing out of the competition. F@H is regularly causing BSODs if I run Kodi or VLC for more than 5 minutes while it's abusing my graphics card. Going back to full BOINC crunching. gl;hf

Sweet Skies, what hardware are you running? You will soon surpass me if I do not watch myself. I have one GTX980.
Just curious.

I've been running a GTX 970 on my main PC.
My main PC is also running an i7 5930k.

I'm also running a CPU folder on my server, it's an i7 3770k @ 3.5GHz.

Nothing is overclocked since it's summer time :x

Hey! I love you guys (espically you tiwake!) and I want to join the competition. My folding name is cubedparadox even though my username on this forum is cubedparadox. The start email got sent to my spam folder, and since it looks like you have to fold the most to win anything, I guess I'm just in it to help out.

Actually that's not true. Winners are randomly selected from all competitors, although those with more points have a higher chance of winning. It is quite possible for anyone to win.

Yep, as the front runner I can definitely say that the chances of winning are most certainly NOT proportional to the number of points you're getting.

If you are running EVGA precision X with the monitoring software it brings, disable the on screen metrics and it should work fine.

Please everypony excuse me while I vent some frustration...

I had enrolled both my GTX 980's in the EVGA step up programme when the 980Ti was released and my place in the queue came up at the beginning of last week. I figured I would roll with it despite being in the middle of the competition, as even though I'd be out of it for a little while I'd come back stronger than ever.

EVGA shipped my Ti's out to me at the beginning of this week and now both of the cards have gone AWOL via UPS, for the whole time the tracking system said they would be delivered today and I've been so excited. The fact that they've cocked up the delivery like this is a crushing blow Twilightangry2

I have a really old workstation under my desk at work which I put two GTX 960's into, this was supposed to be my 24/7 rig. London has experienced some really high temperatures of late and the air con in the office is failing, the GPUs are fine I think but the CPU in that workstation has completely busted! WUs are not being handled properly and the system is super unstable, I'm trying to engineer a fix for this but it's leaving me floundering PPD-wise.

Finally, I pre-ordered a really fancy monitor stand from this guy who builds them in Texas, I have been waiting months for this one and my order was supposed to ship yesterday. The supplier of parts he uses has completely messed up though, the parts that the guy received from them are not correct! Now myself and the other 64 people who pre-ordered are now back to square one while he tries to sort things out with them... It just feels like all my plans are going wrong right now Ajsleepy

Celestia preserve me!
