My card will occasionally revert back to base clock until a reset, but no crashes.

Well, today is a bust. Got a GPU unit that is only giving 5k points and still taking 3 to 4 hours to finish, total. Quite...odd, but units seem to have been glitchy the past few days.

I got my cards working again!

And managed to fit the old GTX470 into a super tiny case... I wonder if I'll be able to take it out later...

I've taken my laptop off of folding duty due to temperature issues and various other stability issues. I'm glad it held out as long as it did for a 6 year old 2nd hand laptop that runs Vista.

I'm still folding on both cores of my desktop, though, and my laptop was only contributing a small handful of points anyway.

Got the same issue, was doing 20k units, now it's gone down to about 9k per unit, and it takes the same amount of time as before...

Might be the fact that somehow I managed to get a WU stuck at sending(PRCG 8900), which probably ended up shifting me over to another project.

Nvidia cards seem to be getting 7810, 7811 units now which SUCK!... my 470 is doing 8K with the 7810's

My 7950's though keep getting 8900 and they are flying at 94K PPD each

Was just looking through my log, seems I can't get hold of the server :\ "No Error"

Code:
10:28:38:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.65.103.160:8080
10:28:39:ERROR:WU02:FS00:Exception: Transfer failed

10:30:15:WARNING:WU02:FS00:Exception: Failed to send results to work server: Transfer failed

Oh well, hopefully it fixes once it times out...but from what you said Luis_GT, I doubt It'll start getting 8900s again. Raritydespair

NO_ERROR means there is nothing wrong at that point. Likely, there is a server side issue that you can't do anything about, except wait.

So I took a look at what might be the issue, can't find anything specific Raritycry , though I think the lack of 8900 WUs might be due to the migration of the 8900s from beta to advanced. [Source]

So I'll try see if setting my client-type to advanced fixes it up. Pinkiehappy

You may be glitching... I'm getting 8600 PPD on 7811 with my 470

That ain't it... my 7950 rig is set up as beta and I'm still getting 8900's

That's more doable... I think the last time I got a 7811 with my 7950 I was doing 68K

Starting to doubt it's server side, because the server is currently active accepting WUs, and is only lightly loaded, might be my connection or something. Or It could just be the server having a personal vendetta against me... Rainbowderp

Whelp, looks like my GTX 780 is back at a dandy 120-140k PPD. That was pretty scary, though, getting like 70-90k PPD for a while yesterday. Thank god it didn't stay.
